A hands-on exploration of famous composers!
The classes will be held at The Music Store (2630 W. Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85202). 9:00AM-10:30AM
Children ages 7-12 are invited to join Teacher Lianna one Saturday every month to celebrate a legendary composer from music history.
Learn about the featured composer through games, crafts, listening activities, and skits! Register for one class (your favorite composer?) or all 5!

All 4 classes for $100 total!

About the Class:
A fun and easy way to try piano lessons for the first time! Take this 4-week class to see if the piano is the right instrument for you. By participating in group activities and games, students will learn the principles of playing the piano including:
Proper playing posture - Keyboard geography
Beginning music symbols - Elementary rhythm
Note reading basics
Parents are strongly encouraged to stay to observe the class.
Materials Needed:
3-ring binder and either Piano Adventures Primer Level Lesson Book (ages 6-9 class) or Piano Pronto Prelude (ages 10-12 class).
YOU choose what we learn!
Love Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, or Billie Eilish? Join other teens in making music on the piano in a group setting. Beginning to advanced levels are welcome! A poll will be sent out for registered students to vote on which popular song they would like to learn each class. This class is a great way to learn songs fast and meet other teens who love music too!
For ages 13-18
Want to wow your family and friends this holiday season?
Maybe you want to accompany Christmas carolers around the piano? Or how about giving the gift of music by playing a favorite Christmas song for a loved one? This group class will help you get there whether or not you’ve played piano before. In this class, the focus is to get you playing the songs as quickly as possible and making great music with others!
Sheet music and chord charts will be provided. Students should have a piano or digital piano to practice on at home in between classes. Registration closes the Wednesday before the first class for each session.
Thursdays @7:00pm-7:45pm for 2 sessions, 3 weeks per session
Session 1: Jingle Bells & Blue Christmas (Elvis Presley) - Starting 11/7
Session 2: Silent Night & Last Christmas (Wham!)- Starting 12/5
